See Kai Run are really great, high quality shoes that are perfect for when you little one is ready to move on from soft soled shoes (our review is here).

Although soft soled shoes are recommended for a baby’s foot growth and development, there are situations when more protection and comfort is needed under a tiny tot’s feet. Eventually, the soft soled shoes just aren’t going to cut it anymore. We found some fabulous shoes that will allow your baby to make this transition in style. They’re made of soft leather with flexible rubber soles, and our biggest problem with them is that there are too many cute shoe styles to choose from. They fit well, feel comfy, and Pooky has no complaints. The rubber soles and stiffer leather uppers are more durable than the soft soles Pooky’s been wearing. The velcro closures, though, let her take off her shoes when she wants which can be a good thing and a bad thing. Price: $32 and up at various stores.
